Peter Cox, author of the book Spedan's Partnership: The Story of John Lewis and Waitrose (2010) will be visiting Australia from the UK in January, 2012.

Peter will be providing a presentation on his book about the famous 'cooperative department store', The John Lewis Partnership - the 'best company to work for in Britain' and the model now being promoted by the UK Government as one for all enterprises to be considering. Peter worked for the firm for 35 years and presents insights on the effectiveness of the 'cooperative' structure and culture of the organisation from both a social and business perspective.

The event will be hosted by legal firm, Freehills Greenwood in Melbourne, in association with Employee Ownership Australia, Cooperatives Australia and the IYC 2012 Australia Secretariat. The event is free and all are welcome to attend.
